Senior Architect

Our client seeks an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead key projects for their practice located in Welkom . This hybrid role requires a seasoned professional capable of guiding design teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing projects from inception through to successful completion. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's design direction and mentoring junior staff, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.

• Lead the design process for complex architectural projects, ensuring creative excellence and technical integrity.

• Oversee the preparation of all project documentation, including design proposals, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct rigorous quality control checks throughout the design and construction phases, utilizing both on-site and remote oversight.

• Professional Architect qualification (PrArch) or equivalent registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).
• A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience in architectural practice, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects.
• Expertise in architectural design, project management, and construction administration.
• Advanced proficiency in architectural software, including BIM platforms like Revit.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
