Senior Architectural Technologist; Remote

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Technologist for a fully remote position. This role is crucial for translating complex architectural designs into buildable and compliant construction documentation. Working primarily from home, you will collaborate closely with a team of architects and engineers on projects, including significant developments in the Pretoria region. You will leverage your extensive technical expertise to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to the highest standards of construction technology and best practices, playing a key role in the successful delivery of projects regardless of physical location.

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using BIM software.
• Ensure all technical drawings and specifications comply with national building regulations and standards.
• Collaborate remotely with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical queries during the design and construction phases.
• Conduct technical reviews of designs and identify potential constructability issues.
• Manage the preparation and coordination of tender documentation and construction administration support.
• Stay updated on new construction technologies, materials, and building codes relevant to projects, potentially including those in Pretoria .

• National Diploma or
  
  B.Tech in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and building science.
• Experience in producing tender and construction administration documentation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail for remote work.
