Architectural Technologist

Our client is looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join their team in Mahikeng, operating under a hybrid work arrangement. This role is central to translating architectural designs into practical, buildable solutions. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation, working closely with architects and contractors to ensure projects are executed precisely and efficiently. The hybrid model offers a blend of collaborative in-office work and the flexibility of remote working, allowing for a productive contribution to projects across North West province.

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure design intent is accurately represented in technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors to resolve technical queries during the design and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure compliance with National Building Regulations (N ) and relevant SANS codes.
• Assist in managing project documentation and maintaining drawing registers.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and South African building codes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently remotely and collaboratively in an office setting.
