Remote Junior Architectural Assistant

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Architectural Assistant to join their fully remote team, supporting projects for clients in areas like Mossel Bay . This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring architect or architectural technologist to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive virtual environment. You will assist senior architects and designers in developing design concepts, preparing presentation materials, and producing technical drawings.

This role is designed for individuals eager to learn, develop their skills, and contribute to a variety of exciting architectural projects from the comfort of their own location.

• Assist in the development of architectural designs, including sketching and basic modeling.
• Prepare presentation drawings, mood boards, and preliminary design documentation.
• Support the production of detailed architectural drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Conduct research on materials, building codes, and design trends as required.
• Help coordinate project documentation and administrative tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to design discussions.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related design field.
• Basic understanding of architectural design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus.
• Strong graphic and visualization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
