Senior BIM Architect

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Architect to lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling processes for their projects, operating from a remote capacity. Based loosely out of Bloemfontein , this role is crucial for enhancing design accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across all project stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, training project teams, and ensuring the successful integration of BIM technology into the design and construction workflow.

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Lead and mentor project teams in the effective use of BIM software and technologies.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM models for complex architectural projects.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors to facilitate seamless BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Stay current with advancements in BIM technology and advocate for their adoption.

• Professional Architect or relevant degree, with a specialization in BIM.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural practice, with at least 5 years focused on BIM implementation and management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant BIM platforms.
• Proven experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards and execution plans.
• Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to guide remote teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a digital environment.
