Our client is looking for a dedicated Remote Architectural Technologist to join their distributed team, focusing on projects throughout South Africa. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the country, while contributing to architectural projects for our client's diverse portfolio. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and documentation, ensuring that designs are buildable and compliant with all relevant South African building regulations and standards.

- Prepare detailed architectural construction drawings and technical specifications using BIM software.
- Conduct site assessments remotely and provide technical guidance based on provided documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with remote project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with national building codes and industry standards.
- Assist in the tender process by preparing Bills of Quantities and other required documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to construction teams remotely.
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong focus on construction documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential for this role.
- Excellent understanding of South African building regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote team environment.
