About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly proficient Remote BIM Architect to lead the integration and management of Building Information Modeling processes for diverse architectural projects. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a distributed team serving clients nationwide. You will be responsible for developing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows, ensuring efficient data management and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with BIM software, a deep understanding of architectural design, and exceptional skills in managing complex digital information, contributing to the advancement of digital design practices for projects originating from regions like Kimberley .
- Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across projects.
- Create and manage complex BIM models for architectural designs, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination using BIM tools and workflows.
- Provide BIM support and training to project teams.
- Generate construction documents, visualizations, and data reports from BIM models.
- Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, recommending improvements.
- Registered Architect or significant experience in architectural design and BIM coordination.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience with a strong focus on BIM implementation and management.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a solid understanding of other BIM-related software.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain BIM execution plans.
- Excellent understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and data management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
