Remote Junior Architect

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Junior Architect to join their innovative, remote-first team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified architect to gain diverse experience across multiple project types and scales, contributing to design development and documentation from anywhere. You will work closely with senior architects and project managers, assisting in all phases of the architectural process, from concept design through to construction detailing.

• Assist senior architects in the development of architectural concepts and design proposals.
• Produce architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Contribute to the preparation of design documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct research on building materials, technologies, and relevant building codes.
• Participate in design review meetings and assist with client presentations.
• Support the project team in coordinating design elements with consultants and contractors.

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Recently admitted or eligible for admission to the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
• Excellent graphic and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a remote team setting.
