Senior BIM Specialist - Architecture

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior BIM Specialist with a strong architectural background to join their established practice in Pretoria . You will be instrumental in developing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies across projects, ensuring efficient design processes and data management. This role requires expertise in BIM software, a deep understanding of architectural workflows, and the ability to train and support project teams.

Contribute to the technological advancement of architectural design and delivery within a leading firm in Gauteng, renowned for its innovative approach and complex projects.

• Develop, manage, and enforce BIM standards, templates, and workflows for architectural projects.
• Create and manage complex BIM models, ensuring data accuracy and coordination across disciplines.
• Provide technical support and training to architectural staff on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to integrate BIM into all project phases.
• Lead the coordination of BIM models with consultants (structural, MEP) to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.

• Extensive experience as a BIM Specialist or BIM Manager in an architectural context.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of BIM 360 or similar platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural design processes and construction documentation.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
