Senior BIM Specialist - Architecture

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Specialist with a strong background in architecture to join their fully remote team, serving projects across South Africa, including Klerksdorp . This role is central to implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, standards, and technologies across various architectural projects. You will be responsible for developing BIM strategies, creating and maintaining model standards, and providing technical support and training to project teams.

This is a critical role for an expert who can drive efficiency and collaboration in a distributed work environment.

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for architectural projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive Revit templates , families, and libraries.
• Conduct regular model audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and quality.
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to architects and designers on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve complex BIM-related issues and facilitate coordination.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and propose improvements to workflows.

• Extensive experience as a BIM Specialist or Coordinator in an architectural context.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a strong understanding of Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC.
• Proven ability to develop and implement BIM execution plans and standards.
• Solid understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience delivering training and support in a remote setting is highly desirable.
