This role is based in Mahikeng, North West, ZA , but is fully remote.

• Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, urban planners, and project managers, in a remote setting.
• Prepare and present design proposals, presentations, and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, fostering a culture of design excellence and technical proficiency.
• Manage project timelines and budgets related to the design phase.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Stay abreast of emerging architectural trends, technologies, and materials.
• Champion sustainable design principles throughout the project lifecycle.

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Professional architectural license and registration in South Africa or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a proven track record of leading significant projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated expertise in sustainable design strategies and certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Star).
• Exceptional conceptual design skills and a strong portfolio showcasing innovative architectural solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a remote work setting is highly desirable.
