Job Title Assistant Childrenswear Technical Designer Responsibilities:
Collaborate in the technical design of children swear products from initial fitting to production approval
Assist in fittings with models, recording measurements, notes, and adjustments, and communicating updates to global teams
Work closely with the Technical Designer to develop detailed technical packages and graded specifications
Implement fit corrections as directed, using patterns and diagrams to achieve desired fit and style
Communicate with overseas teams and vendors to troubleshoot garment construction issues
Participate in weekly meetings with Production team to track sample approvals and ensure adherence to timelines
Engage with agents, offices, and vendors to address engineering challenges throughout the product lifecycle
Document technical details accurately throughout development and production
* Combination of in-office and remote work, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays
