Our client is seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join their innovative team, working remotely to support projects across the Western Cape and beyond. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and models based on architectural designs and specifications. You will play a vital role in ensuring that design intentions are accurately translated into construction-ready documents. This is an ideal position for a meticulous and tech-savvy drafter who can work independently and contribute to a collaborative design process from a remote location, supporting projects in areas like Paarl .
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
- Develop 3D models and renderings to visualize architectural concepts and designs.
- Assist architects and designers in preparing and revising project documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
- Maintain organized digital files and project records for easy access and retrieval.
- Collaborate effectively with remote team members through digital communication tools and platforms.
- National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Architectural Drafting or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting and modeling software.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and construction terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines in a remote work environment.
