The ideal candidate possesses a deep passion for sustainability, a comprehensive understanding of green building rating systems (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, Green Star SA), and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams remotely. We are looking for a thought leader who can champion sustainable practices, influence design decisions, and contribute to a more resilient built environment. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking architect who wants to make a tangible impact on climate action through design, enjoying the autonomy and flexibility of a remote work arrangement.

Your expertise will be crucial in setting new benchmarks for sustainable architecture.

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction.
  • Conduct life cycle assessments and environmental impact analyses for proposed developments.

  • Collaborate remotely with design teams, engineers, consultants, and clients to champion sustainable goals.
  • Research and evaluate new sustainable materials, technologies, and construction methods.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate teams on sustainable design best practices.
  • Stay current with global trends, regulations, and advancements in sustainable architecture.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on sustainability performance and impact.
  • Mentor and guide architects and designers on incorporating sustainable design elements effectively.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in Sustainable Design or equivalent.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., LEED AP, Green Star SA Accredited Professional).

  • Demonstrated success in leading sustainable design strategies on significant projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of various green building rating systems and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in relevant simulation and analysis software (e.g., energy modeling, daylight analysis).
  • Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently from a remote location.
  • Strong understanding of building science, materials, and environmental technologies.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing leadership in sustainable architectural design.
Benefits
