Architect
Nottingham | Up to 3 days working from home after probation
Want more flexibility without stepping away from project delivery?
We’re recruiting for an Architect to join a Nottingham practice offering up to three days working from home after probation, alongside a varied workload across education, commercial, residential and conservation.
If you enjoy working through the details and seeing projects move into construction, this role will give you plenty of scope to do that. You’ll focus on the technical stages while contributing to design decisions and working closely with clients, consultants and contractors.
The Architect role, day to day:- Taking projects through technical design and into construction.
- Producing and coordinating detailed drawings, specifications and construction information.
- Resolving buildability questions and developing practical design details.
- Working with clients, contractors and consultants to keep information coordinated and projects moving.
- Applying UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and CDM requirements.
You’ll be an ARB-registered, Part 3-qualified Architect with a few years of UK post-qualification experience and a strong grounding in technical delivery.
You’ll be comfortable coordinating detailed packages, discussing technical decisions and working with the wider project team. Revit experience would be particularly useful, as it’s central to the studio’s work.
Experience in education, commercial, residential or conservation projects would also be welcome.
Why this Architect role in Nottingham is worth a look:- More flexibility: up to three days working from home after probation, helping you reduce commuting and balance your week.
- Variety in your work: projects across several sectors, giving you opportunities to broaden your experience.
- A focus on delivery: use your technical strengths and stay involved as designs become built projects.
- Technical knowledge around you: join a chartered practice with an established technical culture and a focus on current compliance requirements.
