Senior Architect

A well-established multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Architect or experienced Project Architect to join its growing Birmingham studio. With a strong reputation for delivering integrated services across architecture, surveying, and project management, this practice works on a wide range of projects in the residential, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the design and delivery of high-profile UK projects, while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

• Lead architectural design and project coordination across all RIBA work stages

• Manage and mentor design teams, ensuring technical excellence and project delivery

• Oversee contract administration and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors

• Support business development and contribute to commercial project success

• Promote best practices in BIM and demonstrate strong proficiency in Revit

• Ensure compliance with UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction standards

• Engage in post-construction activities including Soft Landings and client feedback

• ARB / RIBA registered Architect

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience

• Proven experience running projects from concept to completion

• Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods and regulatory frameworks

• Experience managing architectural and construction contracts (traditional, D&B, partnering)

• Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills

• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design and technical delivery
