Lead the design strategy and concept development for a diverse portfolio of hospitality and leisure projects. Manage and mentor design teams, ensuring the highest standards of creativity, quality, and execution. Collaborate intimately with clients, developers, operators, and consultants to define project briefs and achieve client objectives. Oversee the entire design process from initial concept sketches and master planning to detailed design development and construction documentation.

Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and market research specific to the hospitality and leisure industry. Ensure designs are commercially viable, operationally efficient, and aligned with luxury brand standards. Present design proposals and project narratives compellingly to clients and stakeholders. Liaise with specialist consultants (e.g., interior designers, landscape architects, FFE consultants) to ensure integrated design solutions. Stay current with global trends in hospitality design, luxury experiences, and sustainable tourism development.

Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification. A minimum of 12 years of extensive experience in architectural practice, with a significant specialization in luxury hospitality and leisure projects (hotels, resorts, spas, etc.). Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership or principal role, leading design teams and managing high-profile projects from inception to completion. Exceptional portfolio showcasing award-winning hospitality and leisure designs.

Deep understanding of hospitality operations, guest experience design, and luxury market demands. Expert proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and advanced rendering applications. Excellent leadership, client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to articulate design vision and inspire confidence in clients and project teams. Knowledge of South African building codes and planning regulations relevant to
