Our client, a pioneering firm at the forefront of sustainable construction and green building technologies, is seeking an innovative BIM Coordinator to join their fully remote team. This role is critical for developing, implementing, and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across a portfolio of environmentally conscious projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of BIM software and workflows, coupled with a passion for sustainable design principles.
You will be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration between design and construction teams through advanced digital models, driving efficiency and minimizing waste. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of construction and contribute to impactful projects from the comfort of your home office. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage complex digital project environments.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans for various projects.
- Create, manage, and coordinate detailed 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution between different building systems (structural, MEP, architectural).
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all project models and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support integrated project delivery.
- Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Generate reports and visualizations from BIM models for design reviews and progress monitoring.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and sustainable construction practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows and company processes.
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and potentially others like Civil 3D.
- Solid understanding of BIM concepts, workflows, and standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Experience with clash detection and 4D/5D BIM is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote teamwork.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Star) is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively in a remote setting.
- Our client offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, alongside a flexible working arrangement, as this role is fully remote. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, a retirement savings plan, and generous professional development allowances.
You will be part of an innovative company dedicated to shaping a sustainable built environment, working on cutting-edge projects without the need for a physical office presence. Join a forward-thinking team that values collaboration and environmental responsibility.
