Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. We're hiring a Physician to join our Virtual Health Assessment team.

About the roleThis is a full time, employed role.
Hours of OperationMonday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST
Friday & Saturday 8am - 6pm EST
- 8hr or 10hr shifts
- 1 late day (working shift ending at 8p EST) is required per week
- 2 Saturday shifts required per quarter
You will deliver quality care to patients on Oscar's platforms via phone and messaging. You will also serve as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers.
You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change.
The base pay for this role is: $188,000 - $246,750 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities- Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
- Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
- Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Must be licensed in TN and at least one of the following: MO, GA, PA, MS, AL
- 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
- Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles
- Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement
- 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
- IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply
- Fluent in Spanish
- Licensed in MO, GA, PA, MS, AL
- Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
