About the Role

We are seeking a part-time tech-savvy physician (16-24 hours/week) with experience in women’s healthcare (Family Practitioner, Internal Medicine or OB/GYN) to join our growing remote medical team.

My Menopause Rx  is an OB/GYN founded and led nationwide medical group and telemedicine platform that provides evidence-based menopause healthcare, scaled by technology, and delivered by menopause-trained compassionate physicians and nurse practitioners. We are in-network with most major PPO insurance plans and offer women convenient access to clinical care with synchronous video visits, 24/7 messaging, and prescribing of FDA-approved medications and supplements.

The primary focus of the role is to provide patient care to our patients via our HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform and electronic medical record.

• Perform synchronous consultations via My Menopause Rx ’s EMR in accordance with our care model and protocols.
• Evaluate patient history, and provide diagnosis, prescription, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations.
• Desire to care for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms, including weight management.
• Coordinate patient care and respond to patients in a timely manner.
• Willingness to collaborate with advanced practice nurses and physician peers.
• Develop and maintain competency in menopausal healthcare.
• Excellent technology, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license in Illinois and at least one of the following states: TX, IN, OH (TX preferred)
• Active and unrestricted Illinois DEA license or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (with a focus on women’s healthcare).
• Menopause Society Certification or willingness to obtain it within one year of hire.
• 3+ years of direct patient care
• Prior Telehealth experience is preferred but not required. Comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment.
• Tech-savvy in using various systems such as Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack and our My Menopause Rx  proprietary EMR or a willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to engage in continuous professional growth among our medical team, ensuring the highest standards of care and clinical excellence.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, with compassionate and intuitive listening skills.
