Overview
Northeast Community Position – Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine in partnership with Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a radiologist to fill an open position in our Community Division covering IU Health Northeast Region that includes the Fort Wayne metropolitan area. This is a clinical track position. Excellent interpersonal skills are important in this role as well as a patient-focused approach.
This is a unique opportunity to grow the radiology service line in a new geographic region while having the strength and support of Indiana’s largest health system.
- On-site assignments at several outpatient imaging centers in the IU Health Northeast region.
- Possible work-from-home opportunities shared among the Community team.
- Provide general radiology interpretation of routine imaging studies (mammography is a bonus but not required).
- Subspecialty neuroradiology and musculoskeletal examinations are read by subspecialty divisions and may be available for Community Radiologists who wish to maintain expertise in these modalities.
- Coverage after 5pm is provided by the internal ER Radiology Division with minimal weekend call obligation.
- Occasional teaching and interactions with radiology residents and neuroradiology fellows.
- Proficiency in interpreting routine general radiology imaging studies is required.
- Mammography experience is a bonus but not required.

- Willingness to engage with subspecialty modalities if comfortable with them.
