We provide diagnostic imaging services across academic hospitals, 9 community hospitals, and 5 Independent Health Facilities in London and southwestern Ontario. With over 90 years of service, LXA is known for clinical excellence, teaching, and strong community presence.
We are currently recruiting for a full‑time position based in London, Ontario:
Position OverviewLXA is recruiting a Fellowship‑Trained Breast Radiologist to help lead and grow regional breast imaging across community hospitals and clinics. This is a hybrid role, on‑site presence is required for certain clinical care duties and procedures, and remote work is also available for multimodality imaging. Our practice spans OBSP sites and breast assessment centres, with access to tomosynthesis, CESM, and breast MRI:
What You’ll Do- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, CESM, and breast MRI (if trained).
- Perform and supervise image‑guided breast procedures (ultrasound‑guided and stereotactic/tomosynthesis‑guided localizations/biopsies; MR‑guided if applicable).
- General radiology reporting (BMD, radiographs, ultrasound, MRI and CT). Participate in breast assessment clinics, quality initiatives, peer learning, and multidisciplinary case rounds.
- Contribute to program building in community hospitals and clinics, with pathways for site leadership, quality, and education roles.
- Hybrid flexibility: on‑site clinical/procedural work with some remote reporting supported by robust IT and admin teams.
- Leadership & growth: opportunities to lead community‑based breast programs (workflow, QA, technologist education, site liaison).
- Practice breadth across academic, community, and IHF sites enabling wide clinical.
- Collegial group with partnership track.
- Teaching optional within the group and community partners (no academic appointment required).
- FRCPC in Diagnostic Radiology (or equivalent) and a Breast Imaging.
- Proficiency in breast procedures (US‑guided and stereotactic/tomosynthesis‑guided; MR‑guided an asset).
- Experience with OBSP and breast assessment workflows is an.
- On‑site: required for clinics, assessments, and procedures; active participation in local rounds and technologist support expected.
- Remote work: available for some shifts; diagnostic‑grade home workstation.
- Schedule:
