Procedure Scheduler - Heart and Vascular - PRN Overview

Manage multiple areas of scheduling logistics to include; schedule changes due to physician(s) vacation, the addition of more physician and the analysis by physician, office and hospital locations to assure maximum efficiency.

• Manage, review and analyze the volume of procedures and rounding at all of our primary hospitals
• Build and manage the weekday, weekend and holiday Hospital Call schedules for the practice.
• Provide excellent patient satisfaction and care by providing the best service at the right time and at the right location by the right physician.

• Prior scheduling experience (NOT appointment scheduling) at a surgical practice, with a cardiology office being a plus
• High level of efficiency with Excel, Word, Email and Scheduling Applications
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed (infrequent and not necessarily in the office)
• Access to a computer and high-speed internet at home (although this is an office-based job, but some work at home will occur)
• Experience with AllScripts is a plus
