Hospice​/Palliative Medicine Physician

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive environment that includes inpatient consult services, outpatient clinic practices, and home-based hospice care. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on patient care during your locum assignment.

• Provide simultaneous coverage and oversight of three services:
  Inpatient Palliative Medicine Consult Service, outpatient Palliative Medicine Clinic Practice, and home-based Hospice Care service.
• Handle an average of 12-18 inpatient consults per day, shared between physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Participate in a 24-hour call coverage, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Respond to an average of 10 calls/pages during daytime hours and 1 during nighttime hours.

• Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Active Michigan medical license (preferred).
• BLS certification (required).

• Active medical license in Michigan.
• BLS certification.
• Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
