Locum Consultant Radiologist

Overview

Locum Consultant Radiologist position at NHS Scotland, based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. Fixed term for two years, full time / 10 PAs per week (part-time considered). Some home working available. Out of hours CT provided by teleradiology; there is currently no on-call commitment.

Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Radiologist to join the team with a view to supporting general radiology needs, while also enabling a wide range of specialist activities within NHS Highland. Interests in MSK, Breast, cardiothoracic and paediatric imaging are especially welcome, but other specialist interests will be considered.

• Provide diagnostic radiology services to the department and contribute to general radiology needs.
• Engage in a range of specialist activities as agreed, with opportunities to develop individual subspecialty interests.
• Collaborate with radiology colleagues, nursing staff and other medical/surgical specialties.
• Work as part of a team in the Highlands, with consideration for flexible working arrangements and relocation as applicable.

• Must be on the General Medical Council Specialist Register with a Licence to Practise.
