Location: The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio
Position Type: Full‑time, Regular
Shifts: First Shift (Daytime 8:00 am ‑ 5:00 pm, weekend call 8:00 am ‑ 4:00 pm).
Position OverviewNeuroradiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Physician will provide patient care, research, and education for graduate and postgraduate students. Responsibilities include MRI/CT interpretation, image‑guided procedures, teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and participation in research and faculty development.
Duties and Responsibilities- Daytime clinical coverage Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm at the hospital and satellite sites.
- Weekend call 8:00 am–4:00 pm, approximately eight weekends per year; may work from home.
- Provide high‑quality patient care and support clinical and imaging operations for the Neuroradiology Service.
- Deliver education and training through clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and national/regional conferences.
- Mentor residents, fellows, and faculty.
- Conduct and support translational research; serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and clinical trials.
- Serve on department and university committees to represent research and innovation interests.
- M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. with subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology completed before appointment.
- Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (A or ABOR). Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
- Experience with MRI and CT interpretation of the brain, spine, head and neck, and image‑guided procedures.
