Description

Northwest Specialty Urgent Care is seeking a Physician to join the Sleep Center Team! The Sleep Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, evidence-based medical care for patients with sleep-related disorders across the continuum of care. This position is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of sleep conditions, utilizing both in-lab and home-based diagnostic modalities. The physician collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, referring providers, and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance standards.

The Sleep Medicine Physician demonstrates clinical excellence, professional integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Demonstrates effective communication skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work in high-demand environments requiring patience, empathy, and professional resilience. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications &

Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the United States.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Sleep Medicine.
  • Active, unrestricted physician license in the State of Idaho or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
  • Current AHA BLS certification required.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based sleep medicine practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
  • Previous clinical experience in sleep medicine preferred.
  • Experience interpreting polysomnography and home sleep testing preferred.
