Hematology/Oncology Physician – Utilization Review

Remote – Flexible Independent Contractor (1099) Opportunity

Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) is a nationally recognized Independent Review Organization (IRO) specializing in technology‑driven utilization management and clinical medical review solutions. We’re a leader in peer and utilization reviews, known for excellence and continuous improvement.

Opportunity

We’re seeking Board‑Certified physicians in Hematology/Oncology to provide expert utilization reviews. This is a flexible, remote opportunity requiring just 1–2 hours per week
, with potential for more if desired.

Additional Details
  • Remote, work‑from‑home position – work anywhere in the U.S.
  • Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (not traditional malpractice insurance)
  • Independent contractor role (1099 status)
  • Work can only be done within the U.S. per regulations
Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and currently Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology
  • Unrestricted state medical license(s)
  • Strong computer and online navigation skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (visa sponsorship not available)
