Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist in the beautiful Puget Sound Region of Washington State.

Franciscan Digestive Care Associates, part of The Center for Digestive Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is recruiting a BC/BE general gastroenterologist to practice in the beautiful Silverdale area. Our group of over 80 clinicians in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery provide over 76,000 clinic visits, 55,000 endoscopic procedures and 9,000 surgeries annually across Virginia Mason Franciscan Health locations. The center is founded on providing the best possible clinical outcomes to the patients it serves with additional focus on innovation through research as well as training the next generation of experts and leaders in the field.

Infrastructure includes a clinical research and analytics team, in addition to academic support. Several clinical and research fellowships are housed within the center and clinicians are engaged as faculty in training medical and surgical residents.

This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collegial, multidisciplinary care environment with superb support staff. Our ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork. Work includes a mix of outpatient and inpatient with shared call responsibilities.

In this role you will be part of a high energy, hardworking, tight knit team that creates a supportive and fun work environment. The position is located hael Medical Center in Kitsap County. It is on the Peninsula where you'll be surrounded by water in every direction, mountains, beautiful landscapes, and fresh air! Lots of outdoor activities that include hiking, biking, kayaking, and whale watching!

The hospital is on a beautiful campus built in 2020 with plans to expand this year. There are views of the Olympic mountains to the west and nearby walking & hiking trails. If you prefer to venture off into the city on your days off Seattle is just a ferry ride away!

Compensation range of $488,785 - $731,545 is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Common Spirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Common Spirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in gastroenterology
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
