Overview
Cardiologist Needed for Remote 1099 Utilization Review Work at Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA).
What You’ll Do- Provide expert utilization reviews as a Board-Certified Cardiologist.
- Flexible, remote opportunity requiring about 1–2 hours per week.
- Contribute to technology-driven utilization management and clinical medical review solutions.
- MD or DO, Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Cardiovascular Disease
- Unrestricted MINNESOTA or INDIANA Medical License Required (or current approval from the IMLC)
- Strong computer and online navigation skills
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder (Visa sponsorship not available)

- Remote, work-from-home position—anywhere in the U.S. within regulatory constraints
- Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (not traditional malpractice insurance)
- Background and drug screenings are required prior to contracting
