Flexible Independent Contractor (1099) – Pediatric Hematology Oncology Utilization Review

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Board‑Certified physicians in Pediatric Hematology Oncology to conduct independent Utilization Reviews. This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity requiring only 1–2 hours per week—no minimum commitment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent utilization reviews of pediatric hematology oncology cases.
- Engage in peer‑to‑peer conversations during daytime hours.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Additional Information
- Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. (patient records cannot leave the U.S.).
- Covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy.
- Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.
- Adhere to all applicable HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security of sensitive health information.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Current Texas state medical license.
- Current Board Certification in Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
- 5+ years of clinical experience; residency required.
- Daytime availability for peer‑to‑peer conversations.
