What You’ll Do:- Be part of a close-knit team of 50 physicians, tackling the challenges of complex patients in post-acute care environments.
- Utilize telemedicine to provide cross-coverage and availability during evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Work from home while serving a vital population in nursing homes, helping to prevent unnecessary ER visits and hospitalizations.
- Receive comprehensive training in technology protocols, workflows, and EMR systems.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) with at least 3 years of hospitalist experience.
- Prior telemedicine experience is a plus!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for learning.
- Licensure: Minimum Compact/IMLCC and 3+ state licenses preferred. Candidates with multiple state licenses will be prioritized.
- Required licensure in states such as CA, CT, FL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, NV, PA, NC, SC, VA.
- This is a full-time opportunity (120 hours/month).
- Shifts include evening, overnight, and weekend hours, with 35% of your monthly hours scheduled overnight (11 PM - 11 AM).
- Enjoy a flexible schedule released in advance, allowing you to plan your other activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cross-cover calls for Post Acute facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Long-Term Care during overnight and weekend shifts.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss practice changes and updates.
- Receive thorough training on technology protocols, workflows, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Competitive compensation based on 120 hours per month, with a salary range of $136,000 - $165,000 annually.
