Job Summary and Responsibilities

Our Winchester Primary Care Clinic is a well‑established and high‑functioning practice, focusing on intentional patient care. We are in search of a primary care/internal medicine physician to join the practice to focus on the care of patients within our community.

The Providers in this clinic care for patients with a full range of health and wellness services:

  • Annual wellness exams and sports physicals
  • Care for all acute illnesses and minor injuries
  • Care for chronic illnesses like asthma, diabetes and hypertension
  • Diagnostic services, including lab work, vision and hearing testing, blood pressure monitoring and more
  • Preventive care, including personalized consultations and health screenings
  • Well‑child exams, including immunizations for newborns to adolescents
  • Seasonal support for allergies and the flu
  • Mental health resources and support

Essential Job Duties

  • Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards.
  • Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.
  • Educate patients on both clinical and managed care.
  • Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.
  • Function as an effective clinic team member.
  • Meet productivity standards.
  • Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.
Job Requirements

Education:

Board Certified - or eligible.

License/Certification:
Kentucky Licensure.
