Overview
STG International is seeking a board certified Anesthesiologist to perform medical review work and provide consultation and guidance to the Department of Labor (DOL) for a variety of workers’ compensation cases. Each physician will receive work on a case‑by‑case basis and will be compensated for their work at an hourly rate for time spent performing the reviews.
Work will be performed remotely (outside of DOL facilities) at FOH offices or from the physician’s home/office and will require use of email and the internet. It is preferred that the physician will be compensated as a 1099 contractor and can provide their own malpractice insurance.
Qualifications and RequirementsMust possess an understanding of Federal safety and health regulations, and experience reviewing worker’s compensation cases. A broad knowledge of the requirements of federal workers’ compensation is desired. Advanced training in Public Health is desired with a previous experience as a medical consultant for a Federal agency.
Perform medical review work and provide consultation and guidance to the Department of Labor for workers’ compensation cases.
