Job Summary

Modality Partnership - Leighton Road Surgery is seeking a part-time dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The role supports our CARE values:

The role is patient-centred and delivered from the nominee practice site. The postholder should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, clinical skills, and the ability to empower patients to manage their health conditions. Usual duties include patient care through regular appointments, home visits, and associated administration. The postholder will collaborate with the local practice team and related roles within the practice.

We are the largest GP super-partnership in the UK, with a list size of 450,000 patients and a multi-disciplinary workforce of 1,500 staff. We continually seek to improve service delivery through innovative solutions that can scale across the organisation. Recent innovations include the use of robots to facilitate remote filing of blood results and a document management team, supported by our governance team to ensure patient safety.

You will be part of a national partnership with support from a large GP Partnership network. Training to become a GP with a specialist interest is encouraged, with opportunities for teaching and training.

• GMC registered
• CCST for primary care in the UK (or eligible)
• UK work eligibility
• MRCGP (Desirable)
• On the UK performers list for primary care
• Eligible to practice independently as a GP in the UK
• Full GMC Registration to practice as a GP
• Entry on the Medical Performers List
• Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery
• Interest or qualification in medical education/GP training
• Understanding of PCO/GMS contracts, QOF, and patient choice

• IT skills (MS Office, Internet); competent with basic IT software
• Experience with primary care clinical software (preferably Systm One) and remote consultation tech
• Problem-solving for remote working and minimal disruption
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Time management
