The Role
Demonstrate clinical leadership and strong organisational skills; help meet practice clinical governance frameworks and keep protocols up to date; liaise with practices to look into complaints or queries; interview, onboard and train new clinical staff; triage incoming patient contacts from multiple practices using digital platforms; make safe and effective clinical decisions based on limited information; provide telephone consultations as needed; issue prescriptions, fit notes, referrals, and safety‑netting advice;

escalated complex or high‑risk cases appropriately; support the wider remote team, including pharmacists and care coordinators; adapt to different clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, Systm One) and local processes; maintain clinical oversight; accurately document consultations; audit team work.

Requirements

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice
• NHS England GP Performers List inclusion
• At least 2 years post‑CCT (preferred)
• Experience with triage and remote consultations
• Ability to manage clinical risk safely in a remote environment
• Familiarity with EMIS, Systm One, or other GP clinical systems
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Able to remain focused and clinically vigilant while managing multiple practice workflows
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
