- Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)
- Rate: USD 82-287/hour
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our customer’s team as an AI Trainer. In this remote role, you will leverage your expertise in anesthesiology, pain management, and perioperative care to train and refine artificial intelligence models that enhance patient safety, optimize clinical workflows, and support decision-making in anesthesia delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance to train AI algorithms for anesthesiology and perioperative care applications.
- Review, annotate, and interpret clinical datasets to enhance AI understanding of anesthesia protocols and patient management.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and other clinicians to define real-world use cases and improve model accuracy.
- Monitor patient case studies and simulate scenarios to validate AI performance in anesthesia delivery, analgesia, and perioperative management.
- Document clinical decision-making processes and communicate insights clearly in written and verbal forms to interdisciplinary teams.
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology, pain management, and AI-assisted medical technologies.
- Support quality assurance, risk assessment, and compliance initiatives to ensure AI safety and regulatory adherence.
Skills and Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist (MD or DO) with active clinical experience.
- Extensive expertise in administering anesthetics and analgesics for surgical, obstetric, and pain management procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex clinical concepts.
- Proven experience in monitoring patient status, managing complications, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing, airway management, and emergency anesthesia protocols.
- Comfortable using digital platforms, clinical informatics tools, and remote collaboration systems.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to advancing AI applications in healthcare.
- Experience collaborating with software engineers or participating in AI, machine learning, or clinical informatics projects.
- Background in staff anesthesiology, obstetrical anesthesia, or academic medical research.
- Prior involvement in developing clinical training materials or documentation for healthcare technology initiatives.
