Montu UK is a leading digital health provider specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPMs). We are expanding our Consultant team and are seeking GMC-registered Consultant Neurologists to join our established multidisciplinary service.
The RoleThis is an opportunity to practise in a rapidly evolving area of medicine within a structured, clinically governed environment. You will assess and manage patients exploring medical cannabis treatment options, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Consultants focus on clinical assessment, prescribing, and ongoing management. Our multidisciplinary model enables nurses and pharmacists to manage pre-consultation preparation and follow-up activity, allowing you to prioritise clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
Working Structure- Standard session: 4 hours
- Appointment length: 15 minutes (new and follow-up)
- No on-call or night commitments
- Multidisciplinary support model to optimise consultant efficiency
- Conduct remote consultations (new and follow-up patients)
- Assess suitability for cannabis-based medicines and provide ongoing management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to outcome data collection
- Participate in clinical governance and uphold robust patient safety standards
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and fellow consultants
- Full GMC registration
- CCST/CCT (or equivalent)
- On the GMC Specialist Register for Neurology
- Interest in medical cannabis and emerging therapeutics
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical governance
- Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements
- Fully remote working
- Full professional and clinical indemnity insurance provided
- CPD-accredited training in cannabis-based medicines
Montu UK provides sponsored access to a recognised Medical Cannabis Course for Specialist Physicians, alongside structured in-house training. Education is delivered by experienced consultants across psychiatry, pain medicine, and neurology. Ongoing support is provided in prescribing protocols, compliance, and digital systems.
