About the role

Boots Online Doctor is looking for an experienced and patient‑focused General Practitioner to join our growing Digital Healthcare Team. Working in a hybrid model, you will provide high‑quality care through online consultations while also supporting our Duty Doctor service, helping to ensure safe, responsive clinical decision‑making across the wider team.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will care for patients across a broad range of online healthcare services, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and play an active role in developing one of the UK’s leading digital healthcare platforms. Whether you are consulting directly with patients or supporting colleagues as the Duty Doctor, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying the flexibility of a modern way of working.

  • Adhere to our clinical protocols and prescribing guidelines.

  • Participate in clinical meetings, training sessions and ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and the digital healthcare experience.

What you'll need to have
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a current licence to practise.
  • GP qualification (CCT or equivalent) and inclusion on the GMC GP Register – ideally 5 years post CCT.
  • Excellent clinical judgement with confidence in making autonomous decisions while recognising when to seek support or collaborate.
