Position: Salt Spring Island Health Centre Locum Role
Experience the tranquil healthcare environment of Salt Spring Island Health Centre as a locum physician. This opportunity emphasizes flexible, long-term placements with a caring medical team.

Available from April 6 to August 31, 2026, this full-time role offers 4 to 5 days in the clinic per week, with some remote work available. Optional shifts in the emergency department at Lady Minto Hospital allow for varied experience. Physicians will thrive in a collaborative setting focused on patient health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide home visits and administer long-term care

• Work optionally in ER and hospital settings

• Attend to approximately 25 patients daily

• Implement the Oscar EMR system for patient management

• Collaborate with the Family Practice Division in South Island

Requirements:

• Active medical license in Canada

• Proficient in addressing diverse healthcare needs

• Flexibility to adapt schedules and work locations

• Familiarity with LFP billing practices

• No surgical or obstetric responsibilities required
