Role Description This full-time Family Physician role is based in Saskatoon, SK and offered as a hybrid position, combining in-clinic care with some work-from-home responsibilities such as virtual visits and administrative tasks. Day-to-day duties include providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and coordinating follow-up care. The physician will manage preventative health services, including screenings, immunizations, and health education, and will provide urgent care for non-emergent conditions that require timely attention.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources, and ensuring care aligns with current clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. Participation in quality improvement activities and contributing to a supportive, respectful clinic culture are also part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in comprehensive Primary Care and Family Medicine across the lifespan.
  • Ability to provide Medicine and Urgent Care services for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Experience or strong interest in Community Health, including preventative care and patient education.
  • Eligibility for or possession of licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
  • Certification in Family Medicine (e.g., CCFP) or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to use electronic medical records efficiently and maintain accurate documentation.
