The Human Frontier Collective invites medical experts to participate in the development and evaluation of advanced generative AI. Fellows work alongside researchers to refine clinical reasoning frameworks and improve the safety and accuracy of AI models.

• Engagement: 1099 independent contractor, 6 months duration with extension potential, 10 to 40 hours per week

• Design intricate clinical scenarios to test model performance.
• Provide structured, example-based feedback to guide AI reasoning.
• Assess model outputs for safety, accuracy, and clinical validity.
• Partner with the internal research team to co-author technical papers and reports, including work related to Sci Predict, Propensity Bench, and Professional Reasoning Benchmark.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary network of industry experts.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with active board certification.
• Current status as a resident, practicing clinician, or professional with extensive clinical experience.
• Expertise in specialties such as internal medicine, emergency medicine, radiology, surgery, or psychiatry.
• Ability to perform detailed clinical analysis and write clearly about complex medical scenarios.
• Authorization to work in your country of residence.

• Previous experience working with artificial intelligence systems.
