Exciting Opportunity for a Salaried GP – Excellent Work-Life Balance Braemar Medical is currently working with one of our valued GP surgery clients to recruit a Salaried General Practitioner to join their friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice.

The successful candidate will provide a broad range of GP services, working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team.
Sessions will include a combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations, with the opportunity for some remote working.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct face-to-face, telephone and remote GP consultations.
- Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments where clinically appropriate.
- Develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
- Prescribe medications safely in accordance with relevant guidance.
- Provide preventative healthcare and patient education.
- Manage long-term conditions including diabetes, asthma and hypertension.
- Request, review and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
- Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and other healthcare services. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
- Provide continuity of care for patients where appropriate.
- Support patients with mental health and lifestyle-related needs.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in clinical meetings, governance and quality improvement activities.
- Contribute to the delivery of enhanced services.
- Support the practice in achieving high-quality clinical outcomes.
