Exciting Opportunity for a Salaried GP – Excellent Work-Life Balance Braemar Medical is currently working with one of our valued GP surgery clients to recruit a Salaried General Practitioner to join their friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice.

Main Duties of the Role

The successful candidate will provide a broad range of GP services, working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team.

Sessions will include a combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations, with the opportunity for some remote working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face, telephone and remote GP consultations.
  • Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct physical examinations and health assessments where clinically appropriate.
  • Develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
  • Prescribe medications safely in accordance with relevant guidance.
  • Provide preventative healthcare and patient education.
  • Manage long-term conditions including diabetes, asthma and hypertension.
  • Request, review and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
  • Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and other healthcare services. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
  • Provide continuity of care for patients where appropriate.
  • Support patients with mental health and lifestyle-related needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, governance and quality improvement activities.
  • Contribute to the delivery of enhanced services.
  • Support the practice in achieving high-quality clinical outcomes.
