Exciting Opportunity for a Salaried GP – Excellent Work-Life Balance Braemar Medical is currently working with one of our valued GP surgery clients to recruit a Salaried General Practitioner to join their friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified GP or an experienced GP looking for a new challenge, improved work-life balance and a supportive working environment.

The practice is based locally in East Sussex and provides high-quality, patient-centred care to the local community.

The successful candidate will provide a broad range of GP services, working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team.

Sessions will include a combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations, with the opportunity for some remote working.

• Conduct face-to-face, telephone and remote GP consultations.
• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct physical examinations and health assessments where clinically appropriate.
• Develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
• Prescribe medications safely in accordance with relevant guidance.
• Provide preventative healthcare and patient education.
• Manage long-term conditions including diabetes, asthma and hypertension.
• Request, review and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and other healthcare services. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
• Provide continuity of care for patients where appropriate.
• Support patients with mental health and lifestyle-related needs.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in clinical meetings, governance and quality improvement activities.
• Contribute to the delivery of enhanced services.
• Support the practice in achieving high-quality clinical outcomes.

• Fully qualified General Practitioner.
• Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise.
• No restrictions on GMC registration.
• Inclusion on the NHS England Performers List.
• Eligible to practise independently as a GP in the UK.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a GP in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

• MRCGP.
• Experience working within UK General Practice.
• Experience managing long- term conditions.
• Experience with QOF and Enhanced Services.
• Interest in developing a specialist clinical interest.
• Experience contributing to clinical governance or quality improvement.

The successful candidate will be required to complete the appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, in accordance with the relevant requirements for the role.
