About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pharmacovigilance Physician to join their global safety team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in overseeing the safety profile of our client's pharmaceutical products, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance worldwide. This critical role involves reviewing safety data, identifying potential risks, and contributing to strategic safety decisions.

We are looking for a physician with a strong clinical background and a deep understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and global regulatory requirements.

• Provide medical assessment and clinical judgment for adverse event cases, determining seriousness and causality.
• Lead signal detection and evaluation activities, identifying potential safety issues for assigned products.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of aggregate safety reports (e.g., PBRERs, DSURs) and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and implement robust pharmacovigilance strategies and risk management plans.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., regulatory affairs, clinical development) and external experts on safety matters.
• Stay abreast of global regulatory changes and evolving scientific literature relevant to drug safety.

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) with current medical licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Pharmacology) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical pharmacology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH guidelines).
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to interpret complex medical and safety data.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration and decision-making.
