Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for older adults, with a focus on diagnosing and managing common geriatric mental health conditions and prescribing within scope. Care is relationship-centered and outcome-focused, with time to build therapeutic alliance rather than rushed visits. The role is fully remote and includes helping shape the clinical model, intake process, and patient journey for senior psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for older adults
- Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions common in seniors
- Provide medication management within scope of practice
- Complete clinical documentation in the practice platform using provided templates and code scaffolding
- Collaborate with lifestyle/longevity NPs, nutrition, therapy, and primary care teams
- Surface medication, adherence, and other clinical concerns to primary care providers
- Help shape protocols, intake workflows, outcome measures, and the patient experience
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or psychiatrist (MD/DO) in good standing
- Active, unencumbered Florida license or willingness to obtain Florida licensure
- Active DEA registration, with Florida DEA required to prescribe for Florida patients
- For PMHNPs, a collaborating physician in place or willingness to establish one
- Experience caring for older adults
- Comfort practicing via live video telehealth
- Multi-state licensure
- Experience in senior psychiatry or behavioral health care for older adults
- Experience working in collaborative, mission-driven clinical teams
- 1099 part-time contractor arrangement
- Flexible schedule with a soft commitment starting around 10 hours per week
- 100% remote telehealth work
- Credentialing, scheduling, and billing managed by the company
