General Surgeon
.Combined, their two facilities offer a total of 133 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the communities for a population of over 40,000 in the County, including 24/7 Hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women’s health, and advanced diagnostics, committed to quality, safety, and community wellness. the position:
- Surgery takes place at the Lander site
- Team: 1 full-time and one contracted surgeon.
- Options for hospital employment and/or independent practice.
- 1 clinical support staff until volume dictates more
- Estimated wRVU once practice is mature = /year
- Practitioners: access to 3 PCPs, 1 GS, 1 OB, 1 PT ENT, 1 PT IM, 1 PT GS
- BC in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
- This role is not open to new/future graduates
- Community Trauma Hospital with full OB and surgical services
- Mammography services have earned a three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR)
- Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound, etc.)
- Broad service lines including primary care, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, women’s health
- Chest Pain Center accreditation for quality cardiac care
- Recognized with top safety and civic leadership grades by Leapfrog and Lown Institute
