Abrazo Health is seeking a Remote Overnight Radiologist for a 1099 contractor position in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers a unique 7 days on, 14 days off schedule with zero on-call obligations, allowing for unmatched schedule flexibility. You will read primarily high-acuity ER and inpatient exams across Abrazo facilities with strong volume and support from a well-established private practice.
Practice Info
- Fully REMOTE opportunity
- Primarily ER and inpatient exams - high-acuity, fast-paced, clinically meaningful work
- 8 full-time equivalent radiologists and 15 per diem providers
- Subspecialties represented:
Neuro, MSK, Body, Emergency Imaging, Pediatrics, and Nuclear Medicine - Support staff: 1 Physician Assistant
- Credentialing across 3 offices covering Abrazo West, Arrowhead, Central, Scottsdale, and Heart hospitals
Compensation
- Competitive per-RVU compensation
- Approximately 13 wRVUs per hour (approximately 110 wRVUs per shift)
- $30,000 sign-on bonus if temporary privileges are obtained before 5/10/2026 and you cover 10 or more shifts between 5/10 and 5/31/2026
- Opportunity to supplement income with daytime and evening shifts at competitive rates

Shift & Schedule
- Contractor/1099
- Overnight hours: 11:00 p.m.
- 7:30 a.m. AZ time - 7 days on, 14 days off - two full weeks off between every stretch
- No call - ever. No callback obligations outside your assigned shifts
- Daytime shifts: 7:30 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m. - Evening shifts: 4:00 p.m.
- 11:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with A board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
- Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Comfortable with general diagnostic radiology with emphasis on ER and inpatient studies
- Suitable home reading environment
