Our client, a pioneering international clinic specializing in advanced hair restoration and trichology, is looking for an exceptional Lead Hair Transplant Surgeon & Trichologist to spearhead their remote operations based out of Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a fully remote, lead role requiring a highly experienced and innovative professional dedicated to advancing the field of hair restoration. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge remote consultation protocols, guiding a dispersed team of specialists, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care through virtual means.

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients worldwide to diagnose hair loss conditions and assess suitability for hair transplant procedures.
• Develop and refine remote diagnostic tools and patient assessment methodologies.
• Oversee and guide a team of remote trichologists and surgical assistants in procedure planning and follow-up care.
• Provide expert surgical and non-surgical treatment recommendations, including FUE and FUT techniques, leveraging advanced telehealth platforms.
• Maintain and enhance protocols for pre-operative preparation and post-operative care for remote patients.
• Stay abreast of global advancements in hair transplant surgery, regenerative medicine, and trichology, integrating new findings into remote service offerings.
• Collaborate with technology partners to ensure seamless and secure virtual patient interaction.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives in hair restoration science, focusing on remote patient management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international medical regulations and ethical standards for remote patient care.

• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) with a specialization in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Hair Restoration Surgery.
• Board certification in Trichology or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in hair transplant surgery and trichology.
• Proven experience in leading medical teams, preferably in a remote or distributed setting.
• Exceptional diagnostic skills for a wide range of hair and scalp disorders.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, AI-driven diagnostic tools, and digital patient management systems.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and client management skills, particularly in a virtual context.
• Strong understanding of international medical standards and regulatory requirements for telemedicine.
• Published research in reputable journals is a significant advantage.
